I felt inspired to become a therapist and help others overcome their issues, having benefited first-hand from counselling. I appreciate how the sessions helped me to understand myself, gave me the clarity to grow and achieve an inner balance. This took me on my own personal journey to become a qualified counsellor and to work with others that need assistance in making sense of why they are struggling with certain aspects in their life.
Mental health has often been an unmentionable subject for a long time, but now people are beginning to talk about it more. However, counselling is not just for mental health issues; it’s also beneficial for psychological difficulties such as family issues, unforeseen life events, behavioural troubles and couple relationship problems.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, working with adults and children. I work as an integrative counsellor, offering modalities to suit the individual.
I can offer support to, those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, domestic violence, and bereavement of loved ones (including pets).
